KING separation fabrics provide protection and prevent contact damage between the different layers on a roof.

KING separation fabrics are an easy and convenient way to apply a nonwoven protection and separation layer. Nonwoven separation layers are fitted under synthetic or composite roof coverings to prevent mechanical and chemical damage or degradation. Mechanical damage may occur when the surface of the underlying construction is uneven; the (PVC) foil of synthetic roofing may degrade when the underlying bitumen extracts the foil’s plasticisers.

Depending on the application and the required material properties, we supply polyester, spunbonded glass fibre or needle felt nonwovens. Relevant factors are, among others, the level of waterproofing, dampproofing and suitability for drilling.

Here is an overview of our separation fabrics.
